'Lovehart' launches April 2010
2010 has seen me taking some time away from my paintings to concentrate on setting up a new company with my wife Theresa. 'Lovehart' is a company specializing in design led cards, gifts and home accessories. We have combined our distinctive styles to create bright, colourful and fun designs on a whole variety of products including aprons, tea towels, bags, bibs, wrapping papers, toiletry goods and journals - we have just launched the website - www.lovehart.co.uk - do take a look at what we've been up to, there's plenty of surprises!. I have enjoyed the challenge of designing once again and have created three initial card ranges for birthdays and many other occasions. We have also used the Liberty fabrics I designed last year to make up some wonderful accessories... we'll be constantly adding designs to the website throughout the year and have our first trade fair at 'Top Drawer', Olympia, London in September 2010. |

Don't worry I have not stopped painting altogether... I have a Solo Exhibition at Baxters Gallery in Dartmouth on May 28th 2010 as part of Dartmouth Galleries week.
You could say that I have come full circle for my first feature show at the gallery since we sold it over 3 years ago! As I did when I first came to Dartmouth over a decade ago I have set myself the task of completing a new collection of paintings of views in and around the town. I've tried to find new perspectives, focused on different facades and attempted to capture the magical colour and light in the area. Alongside these views the exhibition will also feature some of the abstract landscapes form Cornwall, East Devon, Spain and Morocco as well as the variety of illustration work I have been involved in recently.
